Stage Distance: 12.89 |
|
The stage starts with 1.5 miles of fast smooth road which ends in Buffums Bump, just before making a right onto the normal Francis stage. This stage contains some of the best rally roads in the country according to the organizers-so smooth you could drive your streetcar at speeds they say. Another 3 miles over hard packed clay surface into an uphill hairpin right. From there they climb a past vista on the right-they can see for miles or drop straight down onto the road they just came up on. A left at sideroad follows where spectators should be. The stage continues along the top of Buck Ridge in a large circle, to bring them to a right at T. The stage continues with its sweeping corners but its surface changes to include more hard shale. |
