Driver // Peter Fetela
I’ve always wanted to become a rally driver, but in Poland I couldn’t find funding to do it, so I hang out and helped friends to work on their cars and learn.
When I came to US in 2005 I was able to buy my first Subaru Impreza WRX STI a year later.
I competed in local autocrosses and Rallycrosses using it.
My debut in rally was 2009 STPR in Open Light class in regional rally. That same year I was able to achieve a championship runner-up position in Rally America Central Region Championship.
I have debuted in the National Championship in 2012, but so far was not able to secure funding for the entire series.
My best results include:
- 2011 LSPR - 2nd overall
- 2012 Rally West Virginia (NASA) - 1st overall on day 2
- 2013 Rally in the 100 Acre Wood - 6th overall and 3rd in Open class 2013 STPR 7th overall and 4th in open class
2013 NEFR 6th overall
- 11th overall in National Championship 2013
How did you get started in Rally or Rallycross?
My first rally was STPR in 2009, but I have competed in autocross and rallycross before hand when I bought my first Subaru in US. 3 days Team O’neil Rally School in 2011
What are your future goals?
Still a young driver, so the goal is to learn and gain more experience.
