Win on Day One at Ojibwe Forests Rally

Friday, August 29, 2008
Gruszka and Dorman started off by getting on the podium spot on the first few stages of the
Paul Bunyan’s Rally, the first regional event. Thing were smooth and team was able to gain
speed and put in better time on the stages. During stage 5, their closest competitors in the
championship, Henry and Cindy Krolikowski went off the road and Polish native team was
able to clinch second spot overall and first in Open class, which gave them good start for the second event on Saturday.

Unfortunately Art Rally Team was forced to retire from 10000 Lakes Rally as early as 3.5
miles from the start of the first stage that day. Their 2005 Subaru STI N11 suffered violent gear box failure and Gruszka had to pull their car to
the side of the road.

Arkadiusz Gruszka: “We are glad we got a good result on Friday, but Saturday rally will cost
us too much in the championship. Looks like this was our last start in this car. Hopefully we will surprise everybody at Lake Superior Performance Rally with the new machinery.
Season is not over yet and we are not giving up.”

Grzegorz Dorman: “Fifth event this year in a row where we either have trouble with the car or retire from a different reason. Considering this our championship position, even though we lost the lead is still good. LSPR is going to be a tough one, since it’s a home rally for current leaders Henry and Cindy Krolikowski. The experience might play a big role there.”

Art Rally Team sits currently on second position overall in the championship, trailing the
lead by 21 points and second in Open class with 9 points less than Krolikowski’s.
