Susquehannock Trail Rally

June 5, 2010

Wellsboro, PA

Eastern Regional Rally

One of the oldest rally races on the schedule, Susquehannock Trail Performance Rally (commonly known as STPR) began in 1977. It is not only the oldest, but it is also the fastest rally in North America. With roads consisting of clay and gravel, the course is slippery, fast and extremely dangerous. Drivers travel at speeds reaching 100 MPH through densely wooded roads. The speeds combined with the dangerous course ensure that this rally is not for the feint at heart.

Conditions at Susquehannock are nothing short of a racer’s dream. Slick, fast roads ensure that all of the drivers need to bring their A-game if they want a chance at a place on the podium.  STPR is always a crowd pleaser and not a rally to be missed!

I have been made aware that the recent natural gas drilling in the forest has occupied all rentals in Wellsboro and the Surrounding areas. I strongly suggest if you are planning on attending STPR(R) in 2010 and you believe you have reservations that you call and confirm. If you do not have reservations yet you need to make them. The chamber of Commerce is a good resource for finding accommodations. I would also look as far away as Williamsport and Elmira. Meridith
