DefNder and Fulmer Helmets Partners with Rally America Press Rides
Sunday, July 26, 2009
Before the start of each Rally America National Championship Series event, members of the media are given the unique opportunity to experience a ride in a rally car to demonstrate why rally is the most enduring and compelling motorsport. Strapped in the co-driver’s seat, the rally driver takes the passenger sliding and jumping down a gravel competition stage at full speed. Often, riders describe the experience as “once in a lifetime” or “the most amazing thing I’ve ever done!”
As with any motorsport, racing is a dangerous activity and Rally America has partnered with Fulmer helmets and DefNder neck restraints to increase the level of press ride safety. The Fulmer helmets will be used in conjunction with DefNder head and neck restrain systems at all Rally America press rides.
Fulmer helmets was founded on a simple philosophy: value for riders and service to dealers. Fulmer’s growing collection continues to deliver new products that push the extreme of function and fun, where racers can purchase Fulmer helmets straight from the local dealer. Fulmer offers a wide range of helmets from full-face to junior size, in addition to a wide variety of helmet accessories.
DefNder head and neck restraints are build with the racer in mind through affordable simplicity and efficiency. The easy on design means that you can fit your DefNder over your head, as with your helmet, or slide it on from behind. Seconds can mean everything in the world of motorsports and DefNder delivers safety and convenience that will not break the budget.
Rally America appreciates the support from Fulmer helmets and DefNder head and neck restraints. Rally America pays strict attention to safety, and the partnership with Fulmer and DefNder increases the level of safety for our media personnel allowing the sanctioning body to continue providing unique press ride experiences.
