If you’re following along with this weekend’s Lake Superior Performance Rally, don’t be surprised if the 2-Wheel Drive class puts on some of the best battles of the weekend.

That’s because the 2WD SISU Challenge, organized by Tower City Race Team and driver Al Dantes Jr., will be giving those drivers something extra to race for.

20 entries spread across the Group 5, Group 2, and B-spec classes will be competing not only for a prize fund redistributed from each team’s $20 entry fee, but also a number of prizes donated by the rally community. The 2WD SISU Challenge has been organized independently of the event and series by competitors and fans, but will be supported by both Rally America and LSPR with discounted entry fees for future events.
